"The Beginnings Concert was for me two nights of a family reunion sharing deep spiritual truths, not just from the stage, but as we sat around discussing what we were going to be doing, and as we drove around in our cars, as we sat in the motel dining area, just totally lost in the reality of Christ. So many years of relationship shared equally among so many dear friends, and the two nights of performance themselves are truly beyond description. BIOGRAPHY
International superstar and 60’s icon Barry Mcguire has earned three gold albums. He performed as the lead singer with the New Christy Minstrels and wrote their classic gold hit, Green Green. He then went on to star in the original Broadway production of Hair and recorded the famous 60's anthem, Eve of Destruction. Dick Clark said, “When world events collide with rock & roll you get Barry Mcguire”. His other gold hits were Cosmic Cowboy and Bullfrogs & Butterflies.
