"I came away from the whole experience really refreshed and encouraged as an artist. Being part of the concert where you just heard song after song after song that were just classics...many of them performed by the people who actually wrote them. It literally was one of those things I believe with all my heart was just God-led; Christ-centered. BIOGRAPHY
Much of David Meece’s musical success can be credited to his widespread appeal. Fans range from pre-teens to retirees, with musical tastes that vary from classical to pop. His ability to connect with a broad public is rooted in his childhood: He trained as a classical pianist, but he grew up listening to Top 40 Radio. The result is evident on each of his thirteen titles recorded since 1976.
He composed the Christmas classic, "One Small Child" at the age of fourteen. Another favorite, "We Are the Reason", has been recorded by over 200 other artists and is sung in several languages worldwide and included in hymn books. With well over 30 top ten hits, some of his compositions have reached #1 on the charts simultaneously in more than one genre.
David’s life has impacted the lives of millions of people worldwide, and his passion for excellence in the field of Contemporary Christian Music continues to leave a powerful legacy for generations to come.
